The Story so Far...

I was born and raised in Connecticut. As an only child, I nurtured what I called 'an active imagination,' and what my parents called 'The boy's at it again.' I played bass clarinet through middle and high school, as well as acting in various stage productions. My earliest hobby though, is writing.

In 2004, I continued my education by enrolling at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida, majoring in Advertising and Creative Writing, and minoring in Marketing. I continued acting by joining a new improvisation group in my freshman year, which has earned over five hundred dollars for St. Jude's in the past year. In addition, I was elected to the executive board of the University of Miami College Chapter of the American Advertising Federation, called Ad Group for short. In the spring of 2007, I participated in the National Student Advertising Competition. As a senior, I entered the competition again. I also earned the Wolfson School of Communication's "Rising Star in Advertising" award at the end of my junior year.

In the summer of 2007, I took an internship at Keiler and Company, a business-to-business agency in Farmington, Connecticut. Not only did I create new, published advertisements to put into my portfolio, but the experience I gained, working in the real world, at a professional agency, was invaluable. In May 2008, I graduated from the University of Miami and entered the world of professional advertising.
